KCP&L Selects PCI GenManager for their Market Operating Software for Multiple Markets in SPP, PJM and MISO
Norman, OK – November 12, 2012 – KCP&L has selected Power Costs, Inc. (PCI) to supply market operating software for multiple markets including Southwest Power Pool (SPP) Integrated Marketplace, PJM and MISO. KCP&L will use PCI GenManager product for managing its day ahead and real time market operations on its assets in the MISO, PJM and upcoming SPP Integrated Market. KCP&L is currently a customer of PCI for the SPP EIS market and has recently purchased PCI’s data warehouse which will seamlessly integrate with all of PCI’s software products.

KCP&L is a premier client of PCI’s and is currently using PCI GenManager for EIS market, GenPortal, GenTrader and Transmission Settlements for the SPP market. KCP&L and PCI will be working together to prepare for the upcoming SPP Integrated Marketplace through 2014.
