Automation Solutions

PCI includes automation capabilities throughout the system where they are used to automate manual tasks or processes. Thanks to the Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) of PCI, it is possible to automate anything a user or background process can do. The automation can use built-in tasks or by using third party IDEs.

A Scheduled Task screen allows an admin to monitor and control the tasks running, while a business user can subscribe to selective tasks that may be of importance.

Tasks can also be in the form of a user To Do list, where a workflow has been defined and the user needs to interact with the automation process to approve or provide input to the process.

There are more than 15 predefined tasks that can handle anything from a simple XML import workflow to highly customized functionality.
